Terms of use

This document contains the general terms and conditions governing the sale of our products on the website www.wearenowa.be. These general terms and conditions define the rights and responsibilities of the parties within the context of the sale of products offered on this website, without prejudice to all other rules of law.

Please read them before buying one of our wallets! You can also download or print them, without changing them. The details of your purchase will be emailed to you and will also be available in your nowa account.

The online shop is published by nowa sprl, details of which can be found below (I.a), respects all legislation in force and complies with all good e-commerce practices, such as those suggested on the Service Public Federal Economie website, www.economie.fgov.be.

Any purchase of a product offered on the website assumes that the purchaser explicitly accepts the general terms and conditions of sale, without requiring a handwritten signature in accordance with the provisions of the law of 9 July 2001 establishing certain rules within the legal framework for electronic signatures and certification services.

I. General

Information about cancelling a purchase :

Consumers have the right to inform the company that they would like to cancel their purchase, without any penalties, and without any need to give a reason, within 14 days of the day after the item is delivered or the service contract was entered into.

These general terms and conditions govern the sale of nowa sprl’s products online via the abovementioned website. Contracts designed to obtain products entered into via the website or following your visits are governed by our general terms and conditions.

If you place an order on our website, you guarantee that you are over 18 years old. If you are a minor, make sure an adult is with you to place your order.

II. Your contract

a.1 To complete the purchase of your product, you need to fill in the order form with your personal details, and choose your payment method. The order is valid when we have received and accepted your payment and the information contained in the form. This is an order with the obligation to pay.

a.2 You can choose from a number of different payment methods: PAYPAL, VISA, MASTERCARD, AMERICAN EXPRESS or bank transfer.

a.3 You do not have to create a customer account, but this does offer the advantage of not having to fill in your details again the next time you want to purchase something.

a.4 All the information that you provide must be correct. You can change these details at any time.

a.5 You will receive an email confirming your purchase with all the information you will need for our after-sales service. This document should be kept.

a.6 If, after placing the order, you would like to change any detail of it (address or product for example), please contact us as quickly as possible.

a.7 The sale can be completed in one of the languages available on the website.

b.1 All prices are given in Euros. The price shown on the homepage does not include delivery charges, which you must pay. They will be clearly shown when you need to confirm your order.

b.2 The product will be delivered to the address provided in the order form and, ideally, within the following deadlines from when the order is confirmed:

  • Belgium: 48 hours
  • Bordering countries: 5 days
  • Rest of the European Union: 5 days
  • Rest of the world: 7 days

We cannot guarantee delivery to the whole world if the conditions offered by the postal operators do not allow it.

b.3 Our goal is to respect the delivery deadline given on our website. However, the exact delivery date cannot be guaranteed with absolute certainty.

b.4 In accordance with the law, we do not accept any responsibility for late deliveries, loss, costs, damage and expenses caused by the postal operator. If for any particular reason you need your products very quickly, please point this out to us so that we can process your order on an ad hoc basis.

b.5 We recommend that you open your parcel carefully to avoid damaging the packaging or the product. Do not use any sharp objects.

b.6 Promotions are only valid for a fixed period and can only be used individually. Legal action may be taken to counter any instance of fraud.

c.1 These general terms and conditions apply to all sales completed via our website.

c.2 These general terms and conditions prevail over any other text put forward by the customer. To be taken into consideration, any special request must be submitted before placing the order.

d.1 We can cancel your order if the product is not available for any reason.

d.2 If applicable, we will notify you of this immediately and find an alternative solution.

d.3 We will refund you any money that you have paid via the same payment method that you used to pay for the product.

e.1 If the customer would like to buy a product on the website, he/she should click in the box AJOUTER AU PANIER . The customer can see the order status at any time by clicking on VOIR PANIER 

e.2 By clicking on METTRE A JOUR , the customer can refresh the page and correct any mistakes or make any changes.

e.3 When the customer wants to confirm the purchase, he/she should click on COMMANDE . A summary of the order details will then be displayed. The customer must provide all of his/her personal details to complete the order.

e.4 The customer must then choose a payment method and accept the general terms and conditions.

e.5 The contract is deemed to be final when nowa accepts the order.

e.6 The product will be sent once proof of payment has been received.

e.7 The summary sent by nowa to the purchaser by email will include a reminder of the product purchased, the price, the expected delivery date and, if applicable, a breakdown of the delivery charges. This is proof of purchase, which the purchaser should keep.

III. After-sales service

In any event, the purchaser must keep the purchase order received by email. This document will be requested if there is any complaint.

a.1 The purchaser has 20 working days to return the product, at his/her expense, starting on the delivery date, as long as he/she expresses this wish in writing to info@wearenowa.be within 14 working days of the delivery date.

a.2 Once the purchaser has the product(s), he/she must take good care of it/them. If he/she exercises the right to cancel, the product must be returned in its packaging, in its original condition.

a.3 If the deadlines are respected by the purchaser and the product is in a good condition, the total amount paid by the purchaser will be refunded within 30 working days of the written notification.

a.4 The product must be sent back by the purchaser to the following address :

Our products are guaranteed for their normal lifespan depending on the nature of the product. The purchaser has a legal warranty for any instance of non-compliance that exists when the item is delivered. In this case, the purchaser can demand that the item is repaired or replaced, and if neither of these solutions is possible, an appropriate reduction of the price or the termination of the contract, in accordance with the conditions stipulated by law (art. 1649 bis et seq. of the Belgian Civil Code).

The purchaser must get in touch with the website within two months of the day on which the fault was noticed. The product must be sent back in its original packaging.

c.1 We guarantee that the product will be delivered intact and in accordance with the description. Failing this, a replacement, repair or refund will be arranged, depending on the situation.

c.2 If the product is faulty, the customer must inform us as soon as possible by emailing info@wearenowa.be

IV. Jurisdiction and applicable law

These general terms and conditions are subject to Belgian law.

In the event of a dispute between nowa sprl and a customer, an amicable solution will automatically be preferred. If no agreement is arrived at, any dispute will be referred to the jurisdiction of a Belgian court in Namur (postcode 5000).
